FMOz will be held at the University of Queensland, 4th and 5th of June, 2026.
If you are interested in presenting please see the call for presentations. Attendence is free, however please RSVP by email so we have estimates for room bookings.
The program on the 4th will run from approximately 10am on the 4th, and endeavour to finish somewhat earlier to allow those travelling interstate to fly in on the morning. On both the 4th and 5th we will take a group lunch at a restaurant/cafe on campus. There will be a dinner on the 4th at a restaurant to be decided.
While attendance is free, unfortunately, we do not have funding to provide catering.
A full talk schedule will be released following the registration deadline.
FMOz 2026 will be located at The University of Queensland St Lucia Campus, room information will be provided closer to the date.
UQ can be reached by City Cat to UQ lakes, the Brisbane Metro (Bus) from South bank or the CBD, or bus to Chancellors Place bus stop from the South or West.
FMOz falls in the study break, so paid parking on campus will likely be available, the closest being along Sir William Macgregor Drive or Konifer Knoll carpark.
If you would like to stay on campus there is a range of colleges at UQ. However, you will have to check whether accommodation is available.
