FMOz will be held at the University of Queensland, 4th and 5th of June, 2026.
The program can be found on the program page. Attendance is free, however please RSVP by email so we have estimates for room bookings.
The program runs from 10am-5:15pm on the 4th, and 9am-4:30pm on the 5th, to allow those travelling interstate to fly in on the morning. On both the 4th and 5th we will take a group lunch at Saint Lucy's on campus. There will be a dinner on the 4th at Viet De Lites in South Bank, a ferry ride away.
While attendance is free, unfortunately, we do not have funding to provide catering.
FMOz 2026 will be located at The University of Queensland St Lucia Campus in Brisbane. The workshop will be held at Room 442 in the Andrew Liveris Building (46).
UQ can be reached by City Cat (ferry) to UQ Lakes, the Brisbane Metro (bus) from South Bank or the CBD, or bus to Chancellors Place bus stop from the West. Translink Journey Planner can be used to plan public transport.
FMOz falls in the study break, so paid parking on campus will likely be available, the closest being along Sir William Macgregor Drive or Conifer Knoll carpark.
If you would like to stay on campus there is a range of colleges at UQ. However, you will have to check whether accommodation is available.
